I am Shihan K. Anandharaj started my karatae training at my age 8 and my master is Renshi L.Ravindran 6th dan (Gojuryu) trained me. I attend my first tournament at my age 9 achieve first place in kumitae, after these achievement I started attending many tournaments and i won so may all India tournaments, apart from this i participate and won in international tournment both kata & Kumite(1993- Hyashika Shitoryu International tournament, 1999-All India Perak Okinawa Gojuryu Karate- Do International Championship) More over I trained with many International Gojuryu Japenese Master, where I gained so much informations, techniques and guidance form them, till now iam training.
About O.G.K.K.: After the death of Master CHOJUN MIYAGI, Elichi Miyazato Sensei was appointed to suceed him. In 1969 Miyazoto Sensei was appointed chairman of the Okinawa Gojuryu Karatae Do Kyokai(OGKK) untill pssed away in 1999 suceeded in turn by the kochin Sensei & Hichiya Yoshio Koicho.
The OGKK is the Association of Okinawa Gojuryu Japan. The OGKK strives to ensure the preservation of the original teachings of Master Chojun Miyagi. These is done via regular Master Seminar during which surviving strudents of Sensei Miyagi Miyazato and other senior instructors collaborate their knowledge for instruction and archieve purpose.
Foregin branches( shibu) of the OGKK are operational in various countries. Shibu holders are approved after stringent evaluation in Okinawa to be in compliance with the aims, objective and standards of the OGKK Directorate.
The indian Shibu is granted to Shihan K.Anandharaj. The personel honbu dojo in Okinawa is that of Koei Teruya. The association has a management structure comprising the protofolios as listed below

The literal meaning of the two Japanese characters which make up the word Karate is "empty hands. " This, of course, refers simply to the fact that Karate originated as a system of self-defense which relied on the effective use of the unarmed body of the practitioner.
